Wheels have always been a tough part of car styling to swallow. For many car subcultures across the world, ride height and wheel size seems to be the one area where moderation is truly thrown to the wind. We have the Donks, the Hellaflushes, the Eurostyles, the Brotrucks. The list goes on.

10" wide, 12" tall, a pinch of rubber or get das fuck aus, mann.

Kinja'd!!!

Also the Japanese.

All of these guys get riffed on a lot here, but I can't remember seeing any jalopniks gush about nice wheel combos. We should change that.

I still think that 15s on a truck should always be standard.

Here's my personal preferences:

They are not significantly taller or lower than the wheels the car originally comes with.
They do not stick out past the fenders.
The tires are not stretched more than a little bit.
They can bulge if it goes with the general style of the car.
No less than 40 profile.
As wide as you want them, as long as they do not scrub.
Wider wheels at the back of a RWD is okay by me.
The wheels aren't disappearing up the arches.
Camber is cool to a degree.

1932 Bucciali TAV-12 Saoutchik will always get my vote for having the wickedest combo of wheels, tyres, and height (does sinisterness count?).

As long as the wheel/tire combo fills the opening, I have no real preference.

IDK why, but I think my mom's jetta would look very cool on a set of 18" rims that look just like the BBS 15 that you could have on a MK2 GTi. preferably, they'd be gunmetal, or gold!
also, wider track in the front by 10-25mm. If RWD cars have wider rears, why shouldn't FWD's have a bit wider fronts?

I'd like to imagine that only people who've killed a man (in the most romantic sense of course) are allowed to get behind the wheel of this downright sinister vehicle.
